First the great news that ‘Covert Affairs‘ will have a new season and now some sad news. Apparently has Piper got injured yesterday (August 19) on the set and several articles has been posted about this on the net.

Sometimes playing a smarty-pants action heroine on TV comes with a price.

Piper Perabo injured her knee on the set of her new USA series, Covert Affairs, in which she plays a CIA newbie who’s called up for active duty before she’s finished training, a network rep confirms to E! News.

Apparently the injury wasn’t serious, but Perabo was taken to a nearby hospital to get treatment. She’s expected to make a full recovery.

Either way, it sounds as if the CIA doesn’t take it easy on its freshmen agents.
